10.11.18 Debt = $38,292.07

How did I barely budge in a month? Well, I had an $800+ bill for some work done on my car that I put on my Firestone account. I have 6 months @ 0% APR to pay it off, and I intend to do so. I've had that car now over 10 years and I think it should last me a few more years - especially when my mechanic tells me that they've done so much work that they've "rebuilt this car." 😕

Honestly, it's beautiful outside and I'd love nothing more than to go buy a coffee, but that's not in the budget. I don't have an official budget right now, but there are some things I *really* try not to buy. Here's a few:

  • coffee (bring my own or have tea in the afternoon)
  • lunch out (I pack mine every day, even if it's soup)
  • paid parking (the Vespa is free to park on the sidewalk, or there is free street parking about a ten minute walk away)
  • soda (sometimes I crave a coke, but I let it pass)
  • cable (I've never had cable as an adult)
  • haircuts (I've cut my own hair for about 20 years now)
  • more than two drinks when I'm out - or none at all
Tomorrow is payday & I looking forward to paying my due bills a.s.a.p.
Current goal is to pay off my Chase Slate card by Thanksgiving ($373.52)

09.06.19 Debt = $26,539.01
