I'll be turning 40 in a month from today. So that is 37 months to pay just under $34K. Or $913 per month, give or take interest adding up. That is totally doable, right? I'm currently paying $1346 per month just in minimums. I'm trying to stay positive and focus on the light at the end of the tunnel, and not dwell on the fact that my car needs a check up and my dog's teeth needs cleaned.
Also, it's Carnival time in New Orleans, which means extra money for parties, drinks, and costumes. I'm trying to keep it reeled in and not spent too much. I've done well with recycling costumes and NOT going crazy at the thrift store, but my partner and I are hosting a Mardi Gras Day brunch which is sure to put us over $200 in supplies. It is the most wonderful time of the year though. I'd much rather spend money on Mardi Gras then Christmas.
